Number 5: Praha from Letna
From Letenské sady (Letna gardens) on the hill just north from the Old Town, you can view most of Prague at a glance: back down the hill into the Old Town, New Town, and Vinohrady; across the bridges over the Vltava river to the Little Quarter, Smíchov, and Petřín hill. As one of my favourite places in the world, I’ve highlighted the capital city of the Czech Republic before as “love story number 1” and as part of my list of 5 places to view this city at night.
I made the photo above on 5 December 2008. This post appears on Fotoeins Wide at fotowide.wordpress.com.
